Catherine Coulson
Catherine qualified as an Iyengar yoga teacher in 1998 and has been teaching general mixed-ability classes in north London ever since. She brings the Iyengar principles of connection, alignment, extension and balance to her teaching, focusing on stability and mobility through yoga philosophy. She has made multiple visits to Pune to study with the Iyengar family and leads yoga holidays internationally.

Food
Enjoy delicious fresh food at award-winning Ambrosia Gallery Restaurant. You will be served an abundant breakfast buffet daily, as well as a tasty lunch and dinner. They use fresh food and locally grown vegetables and a variety of spices grown on the island. The meals are all vegetarian and vegan. Please let the retreat leader know at the time of your booking if you have any specific dietary requirements.

Introduction
We will have 10 Iyengar yoga classes over six days, with a free day to explore the island or restore yourself. Most days include a morning asana class and a quieter evening session, each beginning with a short discussion on yoga philosophy. Catherine teaches with a focus on extending the spine, stabilising the body and supporting general wellbeing.
